All Whites captain and Blackburn Rovers defender Ryan Nelsen has signed a six-month contract with English premier league team Tottenham Hotspur, with an option for a further year.
Spurs is currently third in the league.
Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp says he's always been impressed by Nelsen.
He says he is a great competitor and will be very good for the club off the field as well as on it.
Nelsen, 34, has been with premier league club, Blackburn, since 2005 and was contracted until the middle of next year.
However, he has been sidelined for the past nine months with a knee injury and has played only one game for them.
