Police in Wellington have arrested a 52-year-old man following the eviction of Occupy Wellington protesters from Civic Square.
A group of about fifteen people had been camped in the Square since mid-October as part of the global Occupy movement.
The arrested man is accused of assaulting a security guard who was filming the removal of the protesters on Tuesday and pushing the video camera into his face.
The man has been bailed to appear in the Wellington District Court on Friday.
Police say the site used by the protesters has now been fenced off.
