Black Caps win one-dayer by 141 runs

The Black Caps have beaten Zimbabwe by 141 runs in the second game of the three-match one-day cricket series.

Batting first at Cobham Oval in Whangarei, New Zealand made 372 for six.

Zimbabwe was 231 for seven in reply.

Top-scorer was Rob Nicol, who was dismissed for 146 in the 49th over to record his second one-day international century for New Zealand .

His innings was also the fifth-highest one-day score by a New Zealand player.

Nicol began slowly but accelerated towards the end of his 134-ball innings, which included 10 boundaries and six sixes, one of which sailed out of the ground.

With one match to go, New Zealand has wrapped up the one-day series with two wins.
