A crash involving a heavy truck and two cars has lead to the closure of State Highway 1 north of Wellington on Friday evening.
The road is blocked at Te Horo, between Waikanae and Otaki on the Kapiti Coast with diversions in place.
Police say the collision has resulted only in minor injuries.
