The Auckland University Students Association says international students are being given unrealistic information about life in New Zealand.
About 5000 international students are enrolled at Auckland University, providing $70 million of revenue a year.
The student association wants the University to review the welfare provided for the students and the information given about living costs, which it says is unrealistic.
Auckland University international director David Baker says the information is good, but the way it is distributed could be better.
The association will meet the university next month to talk about its concerns.
