A trial date has been set for five people accused of killing a Rotorua girl in August last year.
A court official says the trial will start in the High Court in Rotorua on 20 October.
Michael Curtis and his brother, Wiremu Curtis, are both charged with the murder of three-year-old Nia Glassie.
Michael Pearson, Lisa Kuka, and Oriwa Kemp are charged with manslaughter.
