Strike action by Interislander ferry officers, which was scheduled for Saturday evening, has been postponed while negotiations continue.
The Interislander says the Merchant Service Guild withdrew a notice of industrial strike action and talks are continuing over the weekend.
It says all Interislander ferries are due to sail as scheduled and every effort is being made to reach a settlement acceptable to both parties. Talks between the parties began in March.
