A former New Zealand Deputy High Commissioner to Solomon Islands has been appointed the country's new High Commissioner.
Marion Crawshaw, who has just finished a term as New Zealand's representative in Papua New Guinea, was the deputy in Honiara from 1998 to 2001.
As part of the new role, she will also be accredited as the New Zealand High Commissioner to Nauru.
