Nauru has donated 28 thousand US dollars to Solomon Islands to assist in recovery efforts following flash flooding earlier this month.
The donation, accompanied by a letter from Nauru's President Baron Waqa to Solomon Islands' Prime Minister Gordon Darcy Lilo, was handed over at the Solomon Island High Commission in Canberra on Thursday afternoon.
President Waqa expressed his deep condolences and wished for a speedy recovery.
