Vanuatu's national malaria eradication team says it's confident that it will be able to eradicate malaria from the country by 2020.
To achieve this, it has appealed for corporate sponsorship and community involvement.
The team's acting manager, Timothy Quai, says the disease has been successfully eradicated from Aneityum Island in Tafea Province.
He is confident that it will be able to do the same on neighbouring Tanna Island.
