Flying Fijians coach John McKee has praised the on-going development of Nemani Nadolo, who he says has grown into a real leader in the national set-up.
The 26 year-old has been a stand-out in his first season of Super Rugby with the Crusaders, where he is joint second on the try-scoring charts with seven in ten games.
The Sigatoka-born flyer, who has played in Australia, France, the UK, Japan and New Zealand in a well-travelled career.
He starred with 15 points in Fiji's win over Italy at the weekend and John McKee says he keeps getting better.
"I've really seen Nemani grow over the years [from] when I first saw him playing in Sydney five or six years ago. He's really developed as a player every year along the way. He's really relishing being in the Crusaders set-up and the very good training regimes and the senior players down there. He's the sort of player that reapplies himself - he wants to be the best player he can be. He works hard and coming out of the Super Rugby environment it's fantastic for the team here because he's providing quite a leadership role amongst the group."
Fiji begin their Pacific Nations Cup defence on Saturday against Tonga in Lautoka.
