A staff member from the Australian High Commission in Solomon Islands has died in a diving accident.
Ed Smith lost his life near Maravaghi Island in the Florida Islands.
He was working in the education sector of the Australian High Commission in Honiara.
He was living in Honiara with his wife and three young children.
