Oceania Football has confirmed six teams will contest the inaugural President's Cup in November.

New Zealand's Oceania champions Auckland City FC will be joined by Vanuatu's Amicale FC, Bodden Town from the Cayman Islands, Bahraini champions Busaiteen FC, the Fiji Under 20s and Singapore Under 23 team.

Fiji are using the tournament as preparation for their first appearance at the Under 20 World Cup in New Zealand next year.

OFC President and FIFA Vice-President David Chung says the competition is will help to strengthen Oceania's political and sporting ties with the Asian and CONCACAF Confederations.

He says it also offers Oceania teams the opportunity to gain important experiences against teams from other nations.
