Fiji police are investigating a suspected suicide at the Nadi Police station on Tuesday.
The police say a 29 year old man was found dead in a cell after being held for questioning.
In a statement the police say the man was wanted for a series of fraud cases in Nadi and had been escorted to the station from Suva on Monday.
The police say the scene was visited by the Nadi Resident Magistrate and a doctor from the Nadi Hospital.
