12:10 pm on 30 October 2014

All Whites defender Ian Hogg has joined Vanuatu football club Amicale as they prepare for next month's inaugural OFC President's Cup in Auckland.

Hogg, who played for Waitakere United last season, becomes the first All Whites player to sign for a Vanuatu club.

Amicale have had major changes to their squad since last season's run to the OFC Champions League final.

Gone are Sanni Issa, Colin Marshall and Marko Dordevic with new coach Jean Robert Yelou focussing on local and Oceania-based talent.

Alongside the acquisition of Hogg, Amicale have re-signed Esava Naqaleca of Fiji and Vanuatu international midfielder Francois Sakama, back from a stint in Tahiti's Division Federale with Central Sport.

Amicale's next big assignment is the OFC President's Cup in Auckland.

Their campaign kicks off with a match against Fiji U-20 on Monday 17 November.
