The Royal Commission on the Pike River mining tragedy will begin its final hearings in Greymouth on Monday.
Twenty-nine workers died after a series of explosions at the West Coast mine which began on 19 November 2010.
Fourteen hours for the submissions have been set aside.
The commission will hear from 15 participants including representatives of the former mine manager Neville Rockhouse, whose son Daniel died, and of the former general manager Doug White.
In a statement, the commission says the hearings will provide the opportunity for participants to speak to, and highlight aspects of, their submissions and to respond to the views of others.
