Two polls show support for Labour has fallen

Support for the Labour Party has fallen in two polls released on Sunday.

Labour dropped nearly 2.5 points to 30.8% in a TV3-Reid poll and one point to 32% in TVNZ's Colmar Brunton poll.

Support for the National Party rose in both polls to 50% and 48% respectively.

John Key remains the preferred prime minister at 43.2% in the Reid poll, which shows support for Labour leader David Shearer has fallen three points to 8.9%.

Support for the Green Party has dropped to 11.2% in the Reid poll and 12% in the Colmar Brunton poll. Support for New Zealand First is steady on 3%.

Both polls have a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1%.
