The primary school teachers union says the Government's decision to publish national standards results from individual schools online is disastrous.
president Ian Leckie says the figures showing how many children at each school met the standards in reading, writing and maths last year will reflect badly on schools with disadvantaged students.
But Education Minister Hekia Parata says the information will tell parents how their child's school is performing.
