United Future is looking for big financial backers for the next election, to attract more votes.
Fewer than 20 people attended the party's annual meeting in Auckland on Saturday.
President Robin Gunston says the party will need financial backing to be successful in 2014, if the MMP thresholds are changed as proposed by the Electoral Commission.
He says United Future would need up to $500,000 to run a strong campaign and reach the party vote threshold.
