Pre-election survey in Christchurch

6:02 am on 22 October 2012

Labour is holding a pre-election survey in Christchurch to gauge what voters there want.

Volunteers will deliver survey forms to 135,000 households this weekend asking for feedback on how the Government is managing issues in the city.

Chris Hipkins MP says the party wants to hear what people think about the overhaul of Christchurch's education system and the earthquake recovery process.

He says the Government's approach to these issues has been to make a decision, invite consultation, but utimately go ahead with its initial decision anyway.
