Accident Compensation Minister Judith Collins says there are no plans to change the structure of ACC.
Former prime minister Sir Geoffrey Palmer said on Monday that ACC needs to be incorporated into a government department to be made more accountable.
He said controversies had beset the corporation recently due to poor decision making and slack administration.
Ms Collins says the Government's priorities for ACC are for it to deliver the highest standards of best practice and service for clients, and rebuild the public's trust and confidence.
She does not agree with Sir Geoffrey's suggestion that the corporation should be moved into a government department.
