Two more Treaty of Waitangi settlement bills have passed their committee stages in Parliament.
The Ngati Whatua o Kaipara Claims Settlement Bill and the Waitaha Claims Settlement Bill will have their final readings when Parliament resumes sitting in May.
Both pieces of legislation return land and significant sites to the iwi along with commercial redress and record the apology offered by the Crown to the iwi.
The bills passed their second readings and committee stages unanimously on Thursday morning as Parliament sat under extended hours.
