Resident doctors have extended an invitation to Health Minister Tony Ryall to visit them at work.
The minister visits some emergency department waiting rooms unannounced to observe the patient flow.
The Resident Doctors Association says it welcomes the opportunity for Mr Ryall to visit its members to see how they are faring.
The association says the emergency department is the front door of a hospital and there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that is also in need of attention.
But Mr Ryall says he already speaks to junior doctors when he visits hospitals and in the community.
