Support for Labour in the latest One News Colmar Brunton poll remains steady at 34%, compared with the previous poll in September.

National was down two points to 45%, while the Green Party picked up one point to 13%.

New Zealand First held steady on 4%, as did the Maori Party and ACT, both on 1%.

John Key remains the preferred Prime Minister, up 1 point to 43%, while Labour's recently-elected leader David Cunliffe is steady at 12%.

The poll surveyed 1000 voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1%.
