The United Future party says it has released a detailed election manifesto, because policies are what matter to people - not what it calls side-shows about dirty politics.

The 95-page document includes details on policy such as income-sharing tax, whereby parents with dependent children have their income combined and split equally, rather than taxed individually.
Leader Peter Dunne said today the party does not normally take the approach of releasing a full manifesto, preferring to drip-feed policy, but thinks the public wants a discussion on policy.
Mr Dunne said income-sharing, flexi-super, more rights for recreational fishers and a better deal for migrants are what the party will be pushing this election.
