Major parties see negligible increase in latest poll

Labour has failed to capitalise on its controversial housing policy, according to the latest 3News Reid Research political poll.

The Reid Research poll puts Labour's support at 31.1 percent and National on 47 percent.

The results represent a negligible increase for both major parties (in the last poll Labour was at 30.4 percent and National at 46.4 percent), compared to the previous poll taken at the end of May.

The Greens are sitting on 11.4 percent support whilst New Zealand First is on 8.4 percent.
