Labour says the Ministry of Justice is the next Government department in line for restructuring and job cuts are expected.
Job losses have already been announced at the Ministry for the Environment and the Tertiary Education Commission. Cuts are also possible at the Ministry of Social Development and the National Library.
Labour MP Grant Robertson says the Ministry of Justice is looking at potential cuts in fine collections and district courts.
He says those are the type of front-line services the National Party said it would not cut.
