The latest opinion poll has the National Party still well ahead of Labour.
In the One News Colmar Brunton poll of 1000 voters National had 56% support and Labour 31%.
The Green Party was on 7% and the Maori Party on 3.1%.
New Zealand First, which no longer has any MPs in Parliament, scored 1.6%, ahead of the ACT Party on 1%.
The poll was conducted between 25 and 30 July and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1%.
