Bradford comments on Auckland musings

12:31 pm on 27 September 2009

Departing Green MP Sue Bradford says a position on the Auckland super-city council next year is of interest, but it's too early to make any firm commitments.

Ms Bradford will leave Parliament at the end of October after 10 years in the House. She was defeated for the position of party co-leader in May.

Super-city Mayoral contender, Manukau Mayor Len Brown, says he thinks she would make a good councillor.

Ms Bradford says she's honoured by the comment, but she's still considering her options.

However, she looks forward to talking to Mr Brown and intends to stay in politics.
