Television New Zealand has begun screening a second promo for its Spotlight on the Economy month, featuring politicians other than Bill English.
The state broadcaster is under fire from the Labour Party for its "Plain English" advertisement, featuring the Finance Minister talking about the economy.
TVNZ says it was always intended for the campaign to use two different advertisements, with the second slot including images of various politicians.
It includes a brief image of Labour's finance spokesperson, David Cunliffe.
TVNZ says the promotion has not been altered in anyway due to this week's publicity.
