Prime Minister John Key says comments by a former ACT Party MP about the relationship between the National and Maori parties are utter nonsense.
At the ACT Party conference last weekend, a former MP, Muriel Newman, said National and the Maori Party have done more to damage race relations in the past fifteen months, than almost anyone else.
Mr says her remarks are without foundation, and he would challenge her to back up her claim.
