The Film Commission has defended its relationship with the film industry during questioning by MPs.
The commission was questioned on Wednesday by Parliament's Government Administration select committee about a review by Sir Peter Jackson last year that highlighted problems.
Some industry figures told the review the ommission was intimidating and that its interference in creative matters bordered on micro-management.
Commission chairwoman Patsy Reddy denied that the commission and film sector had lost respect for one another, saying neither she nor the commission's chief executive had experienced that.
