Mana Party leader Hone Harawira says some former Labour Party organisers are among those likely to stand as candidates for his Party in the upcoming general election.
The party held a general meeting in Auckland at the weekend and confirmed it will contest all seven Maori seats.
It is also promising to stand high-profile candidates in some general seats.
Mr Harawira told Morning Report that while names are not being revealed at this stage, those who have put their hands up to stand are not just from activist circles.
He said a couple are former Labour Party organisers.
