Police in Whangarei are calling for witnesses to an armed robbery at a city liquor store.
They say a man walked into the Cactus Liquor store about 10am on Monday, brandished a knife and demanded money.
The two store attendants handed over cash and were unharmed.
The man is described as Pakeha, in his early 20s, with a dark goatee beard and dark shoulder-length hair.
He was last seen walking into the Mitre 10 carpark.
