A man died following a stabbing at a Timaru house on Saturday.
Tony Francis Crammond, 44, was found by the police just before 7pm suffering from stab wounds.
He was taken from the property in the Marchwiel area to Timaru Hospital where he died.
A post mortem was carried out in Christchurch on Sunday.
Police say they have spoken to the people who were at the scene at the time of the stabbing and they will continue to examine the scene on Monday.
No one has been charged in relation to the incident.
