Two fanzones will be operating in Hamilton for those who could not obtain tickets for Super 15 Rugby final on Saturday night when the Waikato Chiefs play the Sharks from Durban.
It is the first home final for the Chiefs since the begining of the Super Rugby series in 1996.
Just over 25,000 people will be at Waikato stadium on Saturday night. Tickets sold out within hours of being made available on Wednesday.
Two fanzones with large TV screens have been set up in the central city.
Chiefs franchise chief executive Gary Dawson says it will be the greatest day in the team's history.
The Chiefs have made the finals of the series only once before - in 2009, when the Bulls won 61-17 at Loftus Versfeld.
