Two skiers who went missing in the back country behind the Ohau snowfields in Canterbury on Monday afternoon have been found.
A search helicopter found the man and woman in a creekbed at 8.30am on Tuesday after seeing a message they had made.
Police say the pair are being checked for injuries, but seem to be all right.
They were reported missing at about 4.30pm on Monday when they did not return from skiing.
