The family of a missing Auckland man is shocked that he has disappeared without with a trace.

Arthur Cooper, 62, has not been seen since he left his North Shore home on 22 November.

Stepson Corey Jull said he went to get a part for the waterblaster from the car and never returned. He left his wallet, phone and keys behind.

Police have been searching the Beachhaven area for Mr Cooper, as has the family.

Mr Jull said they have posted 100 fliers in the area.

Mr Cooper has short grey hair, a ginger-coloured goatee, and was wearing blue jeans and a blue short-sleeved collared shirt at the time he disappeared.
