Armed Offenders Squad called out in Far North

Police say an incident that sparked an Armed Offenders Squad callout in the Far North has been resolved.
The Whangarei-based squad was sent to Kaitaia on Thursday morning after reports that a person was armed with a gun.
Police say they are talking to two people about what happened and the team has been stood down.
