Man killed in collision with power pole

A man was killed in the Horowhenua town of Shannon when his scooter collided with a power pole at about 1.15am on Sunday.
Police say he died at the scene near East and Hennesey roads .
Another person was taken by ambulance to Palmerston North hospital in a moderate condition.
