The Fire Service in Canterbury was kept busy on Tuesday night by blazes at three houses.
Two of the fires were started by fireworks and another by kitchen utensils on a lit stove.
The Fire Service says all three could easily have been much more serious. It stressed the need for extreme care with fireworks and not to leave cooking unattended.
