A plane with engine trouble that declared a full emergency at Ardmore Airport in Auckland has landed safely and without incident.
Two people onboard a light aircraft were due to land at the airport at about 4.30pm on Sunday when they experienced engine trouble.
Fire Communications shift manager Jaron Phillips says a full emergency was declared but before firefighters even reached the airport, the plane had landed without incident.
Mr Phillips says no one was injured and emergency services have left the scene.
