A 21-year-old man has been rescued by helicopter after he suffered neck and back injuries when his jet boat rolled in a Hawke's Bay river on Sunday.
A spokeswoman from the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter says the man was with his father when their jetboat flipped on the Ngaruroro River near Maraekakaho.
Both were trapped under the boat.
They were flown to hospital for treatment
