A Canterbury bridge, which was partly washed away in the recent heavy rainfall, is now back open.

One of the piers supporting the Ashley Bridge, on Cones Road near Rangiora, was swept away two weeks ago due to high river levels.
A diversion had been in place but the bridge is now open to traffic, with lower speed limits, and weight restrictions on vehicles.
The bridge is expected to fully open on Monday morning.
