Nelson paid tribute this weekend to people who lost their lives fishing at sea.
The annual Blessing of Nelson's fishing fleet was held on Friday night and Saturday. The practice began 13 years ago.
Organiser Mike Smith said the loss of fishermen at sea represents the true price of fish.
The occasion included a fireworks display and a service to remember those who have died at sea, as well as a blessing for the present fishing fleet.
