Police say a 14-year-old boy has died after a four wheel drive vehicle rolled and crashed in Turangi on Sunday.
The incident happened at 12.25pm on Kepa road.
The vehicle rolled on the gravel road in the forest and was carrying two other 14-year-olds - a boy and a girl who both suffered minor injuries.
Police are still investigating who was driving the vehicle, but have completed their scene examination.
