Residents in Westport and Carters Beach are being warned to expect problems with their water supply after a major blowout on one of the trunk mains.
The blowout on Stephens Road early Wednesday morning means a number of householders will have low pressure and flow.
The site of the blowout has been isolated and repairs are underway.
Water supply is expected to be back to normal by midday Wednesday.
