A teenager has been airlifted to hospital after hitting his head diving at Kaiteriteri, near Nelson.
The 18-year-old was jumping into the water at Split Apple Rock and is being treated at Nelson Hospital for a neck injury.
The Nelson Marlborough rescue helicopter was then called out again to Kaiteriteri to a boy with an aerial from a remote control car in his eye.
The eight-year-old was stabilised before being flown to hospital.
