A school bus and a truck have collided near Te Puke in Bay of Plenty.
Paramedics were called to the crash at Te Matai about 8.30am on Tuesday, a St John ambulance spokesperson said .
The Fire Service said the truck driver has been freed and is in a serious condition and the bus driver injured his shoulder. Three school students received minor cuts and bumps.
Police said the crash happened quite close to the school and students have walked the rest of the way.
