Christchurch police have released an identikit picture of the suspect in a sexual assault in September last year.

A woman was attacked in her home by a stranger in the suburb of Sockburn.
Police say the computer-generated image of the suspect was not released earlier, as investigators were unsure of its accuracy and didn't want to restrict potential lines of inquiry.
They say the investigation is being wound down after a detailed and wide-ranging inquiry, but remains open.
